24 hour emergency blind repair
Some faults cannot wait until morning: a blind that will not close and leaves the property open, a curtain about to fall, a shop shutter that stops a business trading. That is what this service is for — nights, weekends and public holidays included.

Is it an emergency, or can it wait?
We are direct about this because it affects your wallet. A night, weekend or holiday call-out costs more than a visit in working hours, so there is no sense paying for one if your problem can wait. We will help you work that out on the phone before anybody moves.
Yes, this is an emergency
- The blind will not come down and the property is accessible. Especially at ground floor level. That is a security problem, not an inconvenience.
- The curtain has come loose. A blind hanging half out of its guides can drop completely.
- A shop shutter will not open. Every hour the business is closed is money lost.
- A shop shutter will not close. Nobody can go home leaving the premises open.
- An opening left unprotected after an impact or a storm.
No, and you will save money waiting
- The blind will not go up, but it is down and the property is secure.
- The strap has snapped and the curtain has come fully down.
- It is stiff, noisy or hard work.
- A single broken slat that does not compromise closing.
- The motor is unresponsive but the blind is in a safe position.
Everything in the second list belongs in normal-hours repair, which costs considerably less.
The calls we get most at night
The business that cannot close. Typically between eleven and one, as hospitality shifts end. The shutter comes down part way, jams, and the premises are left open with stock and takings inside. This is the most critical call of all.
The business that cannot open. The same problem twelve hours later, first thing, with deliveries waiting and customers at the door.
The house left open. Very common in ground floor properties and in holiday lets, where the blind jams half way and there is no way to bring it down.
Storm nights. When a strong easterly comes through, calls arrive all at once: blinds caught half open by a gust, bent slats, curtains out of their guides and awnings that were not retracted in time. On those nights we prioritise by safety rather than by order of call, and we say so openly to whoever rings.
Securing tonight, repairing tomorrow
In many emergencies the best answer is not to carry out a full repair at three in the morning. It is to make the opening secure so the property is closed, and return the next day in normal hours with the correct part. It costs less and the work is better. When that is the case, we suggest it ourselves.
What we carry at night
The van goes out with what solves most emergencies without ordering anything: straps in the common widths, winders, standard aluminium slats, end caps and bearings, tubular motors in the usual torques, shutter hardware, shutter locks and materials to secure an opening that has been left exposed.
What we cannot carry, because no generic version exists, are made-to-measure curtains and profiles for discontinued models. In an emergency we secure the opening and those get made afterwards.
An honest word about response times
We do not publish a headline response time. Thirty minutes at eleven on a Tuesday morning and thirty minutes at four on an August Saturday are not the same promise, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling you something. What we do is give you the real estimate on the call, before you hang up. And if at that moment we cannot reach you in a reasonable time, we tell you, so you can find another option instead of waiting for us.
Questions about emergencies
What actually counts as an emergency?
A property left accessible from outside, a curtain that has come loose and could fall, or a business that cannot open or cannot close. If the blind simply will not go up but the house is shut and secure, it is not an emergency and it costs you less in normal hours.
Do you come out at night and on public holidays?
Yes. Nights, weekends and public holidays, including local fiestas and the peak summer season.
How long will you take to get here?
It depends on the time and where you are. We give you a real estimate on the call, before we set off, not a marketing figure. If we cannot get to you in a reasonable time we say so there and then rather than leaving you waiting.
Does an emergency call-out cost more?
Yes. Coming out at night, at a weekend or on a public holiday costs more than a visit in working hours. We tell you on the phone before we move, never on arrival.
Can you just secure it tonight and repair it properly later?
Very often that is the sensible option and the cheaper one. We make the opening secure so the property is closed, then come back in normal hours with the correct part to do the repair properly.
My shop shutter will not open and I need to trade
One of the most common calls we get, usually first thing. We come, release it and get you trading, then assess whether the shutter needs deeper repair afterwards.
Do you cover holiday rental apartments?
Yes, and frequently. A broken blind with guests in the property, or between a checkout and a check-in, is not something that can wait three days. We work with rental managers and prioritise in high season.
Which towns do you cover for emergencies?
Villajoyosa, Benidorm, El Campello, Mutxamel, Sant Joan d'Alacant, La Nucía, l'Alfàs del Pi, Finestrat and Orxeta.
Is it urgent right now?
Call directly. A technician answers and we give you cost and timing before setting off.
